Kai Koren (she/her) is a multimedia artist located in New York City. Growing up in West Palm Beach, Florida, she found passion in musical theatre and jazz vocals. Her love of acting led her to Marymount Manhattan College, graduating with a BFA in Acting/Film and Media Production. She currently works in videography, editing, and performing around the city.

She is inspired by art of all forms, and integrates experimental techniques into her works. Artists such as Pipilotti Rist and Nam June Paik have inspired her 3-wall projection installations at Marymount, Ascending Textures: A Rave and Skin: Into the Afterlife. Gaspar Noé's films inspired her short, The Lens, with its strobe lighting and point-of-view shots. She is currently employed with Chlomosexual Presents as the lead videographer and editor for capturing their night-life events, and edits social media videos for Flamer in Brooklyn, NY.

Above all, Kai enjoys collaborating and learning from other artists, and continuing to push boundaries of what "art" really means. Her dedication and adaptability allows her to be flexible among mediums, and she strives to achieve dynamic reactions within her audiences.
